Moving Out, Moving In

Here we are, finally moving to the big city. Where life is a little fast paced. Am I ready?
Mixed Emotions.
Part of me wanted to be in a world where lifestyle is full of pretensions. Where the city never sleeps; Where trains and busses are the people’s means of transportation; Where people walk with their headsets on, either listening to music or talking on the phone; Where streets are busy…
And half of me wanted to just stay put where life is simple. Quiet yet civilized.
Fine. That was a little exaggerated. But almost is. City life is always fast-paced. The question is, “Am I ready?”
I started my second life here in US in Sacramento. Melvin thought it was the most boring city he ever lived. Every weekend, we go to the Bay Area where the so-called “LIFE” is. That’s how we lived our life back in Sac. We never really did any interesting and fun stuff out there. IF we do, just to go out and eat and probably play tennis on the early part of our stay there. However, I already got used to the lifestyle. My daily routine, and the cheap shops I go to when I get bored.
Now, life is changing. We officially moved in to the Bay Area. More varieties of cheap shops, restaurants, and hang out places.  And I am somewhat scared.  I wonder why. I used to love living in the city, particularly New York lifestyle and Bay Area is not even as lavish and fast-paced as New York.
Was it just because of CHANGE?
Will see in the next few days, weeks, months, and maybe years….
